Francis Reunion Video
It's a big video so you might want to let it load for a while before playing it. Otherwise it will stop a lot. Hope you enjoy it!

Francis Family Song
The Francis Family Song
Written by Bob Trausch - tune of The Adams Family
They’re funny and their kooky,
but certainly not spooky.
They’re all together ooky.
The Francis Family
It began in Slovakia,
then moved to Pennsylvania
What was all the mania?
The Francis Family
The place of renown
was called Daisytown
Please don’t frown
The Francis Family
Paul was the headliner,
he became a coal miner,
nothing could be finer.
The Francis Family
Mary was the wife,
she had quite a life,
Seven kids-oh want strife!
The Francis Family
Arnold Paul was the oldest,
some say he was the boldest.
He married Anna or Billie,
The Francis Family
They had three children early on,
Joanne and Sharon
Don’t forget Paul or Sonny
The Francis Family
Next in line came Rose.
She had some funny toes.
With Andy had Marianne and Margie,
The Francis Family
Margaret was the third one,
with Joe her chosen one
a girl, Mary and David the son
The Francis Family
Fourth in line was Martin,
He was known to pop a cigar in
His wife was Ann, what a win!
The Francis Family
Four children they did adore,
before they said “No More”!
Butch, John, Will and Judy,
The Francis Family
Next came Betty to the floor
First Zollie and then George
A son Tom, who could ask for more
The Francis Family
Mary was number six
Frank was her lucky pick
Their son was Dale now let’s say quick
The Francis Family
Albert was the last one known
Who came across a girl named Joan
Then Lynne and Mark came to the home
The Francis Family
Now let me take you back
To Stefanar and Frak
to see if we’re on the right track
The Francis Family
A Macalak married a Kalindar
then she married a Stefanar
it was her finest hour
The Francis Family
From that second marriage plan
came Andy, who married Jewelann
then they started their own clan
The Francis Family
Two daughters soon came
Claudia and Laura were their names
Now they have their own fame
The Francis Family
We can’t forget Frak
Uncle Andy was no hack.
He had a knack to never look back
The Francis Family
Other Fraks were John and Paul
I hope we have them all
Ed was the one so tall
The Francis Family
After Ed and Shirley wed
came two kids to be fed
so enough has been said
The Francis Family
They’re funny and their kooky
but certainly not spooky.
They’re all together ooky.

Reflection
September 5, 2010
Dear Family Members,
Was just thinking what a great day we had just a week ago. It was so good to see all of you and to enjoy talking and catching up with what is happening in your lives. Seeing all of the little ones and enjoying their energy and enthusiasm was a real joy. Thanks for coming and making this reunion such a success. Your prayers were appreciated for the beautiful weather as well. The potluck of food and beverages were outstanding and abundant. Thanks for all the delicious selections.
As we were wrapping things up, John and Dulcie agreed to plan the next gathering in Columbus for the same weekend, possibly next year. It would be great if we could add our support and help them as much as everyone helped with this one.
I did acquire two new serving spoons if anyone is missing them. One is a black plastic and the other a stainless steel. Let me know if you would like them returned - only joking!
Thanks also for your financial contributions - we actually have a surplus of $45 to start next years gathering. Here is a breakdown of expenses -
Metro-park rental of WillowBend $150.00
Postcards 20.00
Plastic tablecloths 8.59
Nametags (buy better ones) 1.08
Plates 18.59
Chicken(3@ 45.95; pizza@20.00) 157.85
8# hotdogs,buns and candy 50.08
Paper plates 18.59
Total $424.78
Again it was great to see so many of you. I truly appreciated those of you who came from distances beyond our local area and kept the date a priority. God’s richest blessings to you until we meet again.
Love,
Marianne
